Overview
Omron M2 Basic Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor is a digital upper-arm blood pressure monitor designed for routine home monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate. It is suitable for adults who have been advised to track blood pressure at home, people managing hypertension risk, and caregivers who need a simple device for periodic readings. As a medical device, it supports measurement and record-keeping but does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease on its own.
Regular home blood pressure monitoring can help users and healthcare professionals understand how blood pressure changes during daily life. A home monitor can be especially useful when readings vary in clinical settings, when a doctor asks for a log of measurements, or when lifestyle and medication plans need follow-up. The Omron M2 Basic is intended to provide straightforward measurements without manual inflation or stethoscope use.
